New Authorities of the Center for Medical Education in English
With the beginning of the new academic year, on October 1st, a new director has been appointed to manage the Center for Medical Education in English - Assoc. Prof. Aleksandra Uruska is joing the administrative team together with two deputies: Prof. Adrianna Mostowska as Vice-Director, Associate Dean for Basic Sciences of MD Program, and Assistant Prof. Magdalena Cerbin-Koczorowska as Associate Director for Education and Development.
Assoc. Prof. Aleksandra Uruska, MD, PhD
Assoc. Prof. Uruska graduated from the medical program at PUMS with distinction in 2006 and continued into internal medicine and diabetology specialty. She currently works as a doctor, researcher and teacher in the Department of Internal Diseases and Diabetology. She is also a member of the Polish Diabetes Society, the Polish Lipid Association and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes.
Prof. Adrianna Mostowska, MSc, PhD
Prof. Mostowska, a professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is taking over supervision over basic sciences, whereas Assist. Prof. Cerbin-Koczorowska brings in a wealth of experience from her work at the Department of Medical Education.

On this occasion, our gratitude and appreciation for impressive long-standing contribution to development and administration of the English-language programs go to the former director, Prof. Katarzyna Ziemnicka, as well as to Prof. Franciszek Główka and Prof. Agnieszka Malińska, who are stepping down from their respective administrative functions.
